PJ Media's lead graphic designer, Deivis Slavinskas, is to have his painting showcased at the Bankside Gallery in London as part of the Guardian Newspaper's London Lives competition.

The competition supported by Network rail, GreatArt and the Bankside Gallery, features art on the theme of travel. The exhibition featuring Deivis' work will run at the Bankside Gallery from the 9th-18th of September, after which a winner will be chosen whose work will adorn the new south entrance at London's Blackfriars Station. Deivis Slavinskas has been with PJ Media for over 6 years, and is no stranger to prestigious art and design awards, having already exhibited paintings at Rich Mix, CGP London Gallery, Gallery One, the Maidenhead Art Fair, Battle Contemporary Fine Art Fair, and more. Recently he had a solo exhibition at The Gallery at Willesden Green, London. At PJ Media, Deivis is responsible for the design of many of clients' websites, including Vodafone UK, Vodafone Qatar and Sony Ericsson.

Deivis, who was born in Lithuania and moved to the UK in 2006 worked as a graphics designer on many projects that saw him gain a reputation as a skilled designer and talented artist. Among his achievements, Deivis has won first places in Corel Painter Magazine, Swift 3D, Codemasters, World of Warcraft and Guildwars design competitions. "I recognised a long time ago that there are many benefits for graphics design in being talented in fine art. It is thanks to my many-years fine art studies and upbringing that I can count myself as among the best graphic designers working in creative web design industry today", says Deivis Slavinskas, Head of Digital Creative.

Deivis Slavinskas is currently working on new projects for Vodafone UK. His painting "Deep Space Anomaly X24F11" will be exhibited at the Bankside Gallery London on the 9th - 18th September, 2011.
