Vodafone Qatar

Vodafone Qatar introduced themselves to PJ Media in October 2008 when they were looking for a partner to supply their website and online store.

They were in a hurry and wanted to be live by Jan 1st 2009 and following the shortest period ever for an RFQ we found ourselves in Doha in the first week of November to present our plans. Four weeks later on 4th December the site went live.

    Since then our involvement in E-Commerce & Business Systems with Vodafone Qatar has gone from strength to strength. We operate a full end-to-end enterprise system for the customer browsing products and services on the web - right to the distribution company integrating with our systems in the local warehouse to complete the fulfilment.

    PJ Media is also a key partner as Vodafone now move into a phase of putting more structure around the maintenance and development of their systems. We are making regular changes to the services, products, content and features of the site as well as continuing to widen the scope of integration with other vendors and back office systems. In addition to the Online Store we have also supplied Distribution and Retail interfaces.

    The Online Store is servicing in excess of 100,000 customers per month to an emerging market that contains approximately 1.5 million eligible customers.

    Our experience in with Vodafone Qatar has been invaluable in proving that PJ Media is capable of transferring its success across the challenges of culture, language and international time zones.
